Intro to Sewing

                                                                                                   
 Last year I started giving classes in York at the British Curtain Making Academy. So far I have hosted classes introducing people to sewing and making Aprons and Tote Bags. They are a lot of fun, lunch is included and attendees get to take a completed article home with them!
I found I really enjoyed teaching people and passing on my knowledge and passion. 

In my real life I am a Decorative Painter, Bespoke Decorative Finishes. I have been doing this for many years both here and in the USA. People often ask me how I do certain techniques so I have decided to give classes in Decorative Painting as well.

Faux Malachite

Rather than have a studio that people have to travel to, I shall become a Visiting Artist and hold classes in shops and studios around the country. You will learn techniques you can use on your painted furniture or small items, such as boxes and frames.
